New Municipal Parking Garage

The intention of the Government of Nunavut’s Municipal Parking Garage Program is to address the Nunavut-wide need for indoor parking space, for municipal vehicles that deliver municipal services. Municipal parking garages are a top priority for the Department of Community Services (CS). 

Under this Program the Hamlet of Grise Fiord received the capital funding required to manage the planning and design of a 6-Bay garage, and both Phases have been completed by Concentric Engineering. There should be very little cost to the Hamlet for this project. We do not yet have approval for Construction-funding, however.
