Old Gym Re-Evaluation

We have received funding under the Sustainable Service Delivery Lifecycle (SSD) Program to re-evaluate the Hamlet’s Old Gym, that attaches to the

Umimmak School. This facility was previously used for various community and education-related activities, but eventually fell into a state of disrepair.

Accutech Engineering has reviewed the floor plan for the facility, and is working to determine what the renovation of this building would cost.

With this determination in hand the Hamlet hopes to then apply to various/larger funding programs, likely also including the SSD Program, but potentially including any other large federal funding programs that may be applicable, to implement the actual renovation work.
