Old Gym Re-Evaluation

We have received funding under the Sustainable Service Delivery Lifecycle (SSD) Program to re-evaluate the Hamlet’s Old Gym, that attaches to the Umimmak School. This facility was previously used for various community and education-related activities, but eventually fell into a state of disrepair.

Accutech Engineering has reviewed the floor plan for the facility, and has recently complete a new cost estimate for the renovation of this building.

With this costing in hand, as well as finalized design drawings, the Hamlet will begin to apply to various/larger funding programs. This will include the SSD Program, but potentially include any other large federal funding programs that may be applicable, to implement the actual renovation work.
